Spring Chicken Travel Cruise News

Spring Chicken Travel Fun Newsletter

Helpful reminders before we go!

Hello Cruisers, the time is approaching, you are getting closer & closer to your exciting sailing date. Remember that your I.D. must match your name on file. There are two formals on 7 day cruises. So make sure you pack your beautiful & handsome outfits for those nights.

Transportation to the Port!

The fun is scheduled to start on September 13th. We have made arrangements for transportation to the Pier. If we have 20 people the price will be $50 each. The more the merrier and the party starts on the bus. The pick up and drop off is at Mulligan’s Sports Bar and Restaurant at 11:00 am on the 13th and Drop off at 1:00pm on September 20th.

Parking at the pier is very convenient and cost $10.00 per day.

For those needing a hotel stay please call Sandra for arrangements.

What to Pack!

All year the Caribbean is pleasantly warm in temperature. You should pack clothing that will keep you cool.

· Sunscreen and Lip Balm with sunscreen

· Sunglasses

· Travel-size binoculars

· Walkie-Talkies

· Good Camera with extra batteries and variety of film

Carnival’s FunPass Check-In!

Carnival requires a pre board check-in for homeland security purposes. This will expedite our check-in when you get to the port. To do the Fun Pass check in, go to www.carnival.com/mycruise & enter your personal booking number & last name. It will take you step by step in entering all your legal information. If you have trouble, call & we will help walk you through the procedure or fax the information if we need to.

Communicating with home!

The Conquest/Ecstasy has an internet café for .50 to .75 per minute. If you make a phone call from the ship the charge is $6.99 per minute and if someone calls you from land it is $9.99 per minute. The best place to call from is on shore at an internet café. WARNING: Payphones on shore in Mexico do not use prepaid cards from the US. Buy a phone card there (Tel Mex) it should work great. Cell phones can receive calls but it is hard to call out on them.

We recommend that you bring sunscreen, bug repellant & snacks on excursions. Some provide lunch & some do not. They can be purchased online now that we have cabin assignments. These are just a few examples of the many adventures the ship has to offer. For all information on shore excursions, visit www.carnival.com. We are looking forward to a wonderful time!
